Nanjing of China has won the hosting right for the second Summer Youth Olympic Games (YOG) in 2014 on 10 Feb 2010. And Nanjing residents were hugged together to celebrate the big winning and regard the winning as a great opportunity and honour for them. The vision of the YOG is to inspire young people around the world to participate in sports and adopt and live by the Olympic values. And Nanjing residents are ready to take the responsibility and will act as a great host to the world.

The city lies in the midst of hills, water and forests, which provide an eco-friendly living environment.
